Sandesham for a sequel

Remember yesteryear super hit Sandesham (1991), directed by Sathyan Anthikad with Sreenivasan and Jayaram in the lead roles? The same Anthikad-Sreenivasan-Jayaram team is now back with a sequel to this comedy flick. In the yet-to-be-titled sequel, Jayaram and Sreenivasan will appear in the same characters as of KRP and Kottapalli respectively. Script is by Sreenivasan himself. The shooting will begin soon. The original Sandesham, which makes fun of the political gimmicks in Kerala, is about a retired station master and his family, consisting of his wife, three sons and two daughters.
