Dhupia, who will be spotted in Vipul Shah's 'Action Replayy', did show up with Ritwik in tow for event promotions and screenings as he's an avid cinegoer too. Though, she turned charmingly evasive when it came to to talk regards matrimony.

A close source, however, has a different tale to tell, stating, "Neha has not split with Ritwik, and she has always been very open about it. Why would she keep anything under the wraps?"

Akshay Kumar was in for a surprise recently when his leather jacket went missing while he was shooting for his film ACTION REPLAYY.

According to reports, Akki was shooting with his co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for a song sequence and in between a break the jacket went missing. When it could not be found after searching all over, the producer of the film Vipul Shah finally decided to cancel the rest of the shoot.

The particular jacket was specially designed for Akki in the film. The actor is also upset about losing this prized possession.

Well, let's hope Akki no longer has to face such missing traumas once the shoot resumes.

Aishwarya Rai is back to gruelling shooting schedules for Vipul Shah's 'Action Replayy' after her brief illness.

The 36-year-old, who returned home with high fever from the sets of 'Action Replayy' in Manori in northern Mumbai Feb 11, did a full-day photoshoot Friday with lead actor Akshay Kumar at Film City here Friday, said a source close to the actress.

Doctors last week advised Aishwarya bed rest as she was suffering from sore throat and body pain. After resting for a few days, she went to Bhopal to visit Abhishek's maternal grandmother for her 80th birthday Monday and now she is back to work.

Her illness caused a local tabloid to speculate that the actress is suffering from stomach tuberculosis - which is causing pregnancy troubles for her. However, both her husband Abhishek Bachchan and her father-in-law, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan have lambasted the tabloid for indulging in 'irresponsible journalism'.

'The article is disgusting and appalling. As a husband and a man I'm shocked that one can talk so irresponsibly about a woman, that too falsely! On a personal note, as a husband I will not stand for such rubbish being written about my wife,' Abhishek posted on his Twitter page.

'I have never reacted to all the fabricated stories written by the media about me and my own. But this is the limit! You want to write and malign me or my father I will take it. But the ladies of my home are off limits! They've gone too far this time,' he added.

Amitabh has posted a copy of the article on his blog and branded the news 'completely false, completely fabricated, unsubstantiated, insensitive and of the lowest quality of journalism there ever was.'

She garnered quite a bit of action for 'Action Replayy'. Director Vipul Shah wanted to film an integral part of 'Action Replayy' in which Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was to sport the "aged look" for the flick. And Shah was expressly clear that he didn't want the media or eager shoppers to have a sneak peek at Ash.

Initially, Shah intended to cordon off the entire mall in order to guard Ash's 'look'. The considerate Ash, though, opined that he should only segregate the mall section they were shooting in.

As the shoot progressed, and word got around, fans and admirers trooped into the mall. Ash covered her visage completely, in between shots. And once the scenes were filmed satisfactorily… a stunning Ash emerged to click keepsake snaps with her throng of fans.

Reportedly, lucky fans were shot in close to 250 pics with "the most beautiful woman in the world."

Guess, Rai's simply framing success.

Filmmaker Vipul Shah would never forget this insult easily. It was a night to announce his association with the prestigious Femina Miss India Pageant. The audience had just settled down and the journos were getting ready to take down the notes, when suddenly something unexpected happened.

The compere of the event committed a major sin. The sin of rubbing acclaimed filmmaker Vipul Shah on the wrong side. Vipul Shah, who has given bollywood some of the biggest hits like NAMASTEY LONDON and SINGH IS KINNG, had to face public embarrassment when his introduction went completely wrong. He was associated with producing TV shows instead of films, something the filmmaker really found hard to come to terms with.

Finally, when his turn for speech came, Vipul Shah pointed out to the error made by the compere. Though he was gracious enough to spare her of any acid comments, but he added, "My introduction is completely wrong. I am not that Vipul Shah, I think there has been some mistake in the research."

Despite this major hiccup, the evening proceeded smoothly with Vipul Shah teaming up with the pageant to select the next female lead for his film.
