It's a cross country coincidence. Purely by accident, that is. Earlier on, Meera, the actress from Pakistan was summoned up to illumine her role in 'Gangster'. But in a dramatic twist of fate, Meera got the boot… and Kangna Ranaut sashayed her way into 'Gangster', winning laurels all along.
Another 'Crooked' turn of providence: Sonya Jehan from Pakistan was to have starred in the action flick, though, lack of a work permit nullified all her cine chances. Enter Kangna Ranaut. And 'Crooked' is on a roll…
