ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE has turned out to be the sleeper success of the year. When released, not many were willing to spend their money on the film because a) due to its plot based story, it wasn't one of those quintessential Bollywood entertainer in the offering and b) the pairing of Ajay Devgn and Konkona Sen Sharma sounded pretty much chalk and cheese.

However, now that the film has turned out to be a decent success with more than 25 crores in collections already in its kitty, the reverse argument has begun. While Ajay and Konkona have shared screen space together earlier in OMKARA (though not really paired opposite each), one wonders if it's the experimentation around this unique pairing which has proven to be a blessing for ATITHI....?

"Don't really attribute our coming together as a matter of a unique combination being tried out", comes an outright opposition from Ajay, "That is just being unfair because no one was looking at experimentation here. Konkona came in because she was always the first choice. She has a class to her and the best part is that there is a certain timing that was required from her. With the kind of subject and treatment that the film has, this combination of class and timing was of much more importance than the combination of I and her as co-stars."

However, going by Bollywood diktats where a tried and tested formula is more often than not repeated, it won't be surprising if two intelligent actors like Ajay and Konkona are presented with more and more offers to pair up for screen all over again in years to come.

Sibling time for Nysa? Yeah, squeal industry insiders. Reportedly, Kajol is in the family way, and Ajay Devgn is thrilled to smithereens. Nosy parker scribes who often enquire about a new addition to the Devgn family have met with a consistent response from the actor, that he would be more than willing, if Providence wills it.

Kajol has wrapped up her histrionic bit for Siddharth Malhotra's Hindi version of 'Stepmom'. Besides, she's also completed a major chunk of the canning of 'Toonpur Ka Superhero'.

Arshad Warsi has finally agreed to do 'Golmaal 3' after the producers agreed to pay him a whopping Rs.3 crore to be part of the film, sources said.

Director Rohit Shetty said Arshad was on for the project, but the actor did not confirm his consent for the film.

Sources said the deal was finally cut Monday, after frantic negotiations. Arshad's fee is higher than each member of the cast, barring Ajay Devgn. It is even higher than that of Kareena Kapoor who has a three-film deal with the producers.

Says a source: 'After 'Ishqiya', Arshad was adamant on his fee. The producers (Ashtavinayak) tried to convince him to take a much smaller fee, arguing that his co-stars Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor and Kunal Khemu (who replaces Sharman Joshi) were accepting a far smaller fee and if Arshad was paid three crore, the others would feel short-changed.'

But Arshad stuck to his guns. Earlier reports said the actor, now hot at the box office after 'Ishqiya', did not like the script of 'Golmaal 3'.

Rohit Shetty says: 'We were really keen to have him in the film. And yes, the price has been worked out between Arshad and the producers. So he's on.'

Strangely, though Rohit confirmed Arshad's presence in 'Golmaal 3', Arshad was still in denial.

'I am not sure yet. They've been after me for some time now. But I'm not able to make up my mind. I need to give time to my own production 'Hum Tum Aur Ghost'. So I don't know how I'll manage the dates,' he said.

Sharman Joshi, who was part of the earlier two movies of the 'Golmaal' series, had reportedly asked for Rs2.5 crore. He turned down the third part through his secretary.

Says Rohit Shetty: 'Even before the scripting of 'Golmaal 3', Sharman sent me a message through his secretary, saying he had other plans. I immediately looked for a replacement and am very happy with Kunal Khemu

An air conditioning snag in the aircraft escalated to a heated discussion. And Ajay Devgn, who was gearing up in glee to jubilate on his 11th wedding anniversary with Kajol, Nysa and family, was maudlin at Madurai.

The heated argument between passengers and the airline almost ruined it for Devgn. Post canning sequences for Priyadarshan's 'Garam Hawa' at Madurai, the actor was excited over returning to his Juhu home.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Wide Frame films launched the official website of their forthcoming light hearted comedy ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? recently.

The website was lunched by lead actor Ajay Devgn in the presence of his co-star Konkona Sen Sharma and producer Amita Pathak and Director Ashwni Dhir.

Amita Pathak's father Kumar Mangat was also present at the event with director friend Satish Kaushik.

Ajay Devgn inaugurated the website in an interesting manner by cutting a mock ribbon on the screen while the rest cheered him.

Ajay and Konkona were seen happily posing for the cameras. The lead pair of the film also shared some of their funny experiences with guests in real life. Debutante Producer Amita Pathak also shared her experiences of handling her new role as a producer.

Scheduled to release on 26th February 2010, ATITHI TUM KAB JAOGE? is a laugh riot produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Wide Frame Films starring National Award winners Ajay Devgn, Paresh Rawal and Konkona Sen Sharma and directed by Ashwni Dhir.

In a very unique move, the producers had also launched the high definition theatrical trailer of the film on the Apple website on 13th January 2010. The promo received a very enthusiastic response from fans who shared their anticipation towards the film by posting their comments on the same.

After creating a havoc at the box office with the first two Golmaal films, director Rohit Shetty is all set to film the third in the Golmaal series from April onwards at his favourite location, Goa. After the release of 'All The Best' last Diwali, Shetty wanted to create some more dhamaal at the box office for next Diwali and therefore he is starting his next Golmaal film with the intention of releasing it on this Diwali.

The film will have the usual bunch of characters, led by Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade. Kareena Kapoor will remain the only heroine in the project which will see the four guys playing friends as they did in the first Golmaal film and not relatives. Paresh Rawal who was part of the first Golmaal is expected to make a comeback in the third movie.

Actress Ratna Pathak Shah too may be roped in. There is a chance of Sharman Joshi returning as the fifth character but the director has yet to make the announcement. The shoot is all set to begin on April 4. The first schedule will run for 20 days. So, yes, Diwali does looks interesting this year too.
