Priyanka, Madhur, Vipul: Trio Of Talent Hunters…

With all the attendant buzz surrounding the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2010 pageant, the spotlight has shifted to Priyanka Chopra, as well. From Miss India 2000 title winner to turning Miss World 2000, Chopra has traversed the global route to Big Time success.

A small time girl from Bareilly, who's lassoed in the National award, no less, for her gut wrenching portrayal in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion'.

Incidentally, filmmakers Bhandarkar and Vipul Amrutlal Shah will cast a discerning eye and handpick Miss India contestants for their movies. A strategy, which Chopra is expressly thrilled about, as the Miss India participants could land plum roles in the ventures of both filmmakers, even as the qualifying rounds of the pageant are being held!

Hailing the move as a "fantastic opportunity for the eventual winners", Chopra asserts that the prospect of teaming up with Bhandarkar and Shah will catapult the careers of the chosen few into the big league of show biz. Hah, you bet!
