One glance at Aftab Shivdasani's 'mooch' in his upcoming release BIN BULAYE BARAATI and not just it looks suspiciously similar to the kind of look that actor Surya carried in Tamil flick SINGHAM (which has now been remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn), it also continues the trend as set by some of the recent filmy cops seen on screen. He has a point here. Last year Salman Khan tried something razor thin in DABANGG, Abhishek Bachchan went with a regular one for DUM MAARO DUM and now Aamir Khan is going conventional as well for Reema Kagti's yet untitled suspense drama. Not to forget Ajay Devgn who has grown a 'mooch' for SINGHAM. Incidentally each of these actors are playing a cop in the respective films.

When contacted, Aftab Shivdasani doesn't deny that his look is inspired. However he says that his reference point wasn't any of the current generation actors but veteran actor Anil Kapoor.

Yeah, the actor who garnered name and fame globally after ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ release has been signed in by yet another Hollywood production.Latest buzz is that Anil Kapoor has bagged a film titled ‘Cities’ that will be directed by Roger Donaldson, the man behind popular Hollywood flicks like ‘Hungry Rabbit Jumps’, ‘The Bank Job’ and ‘The Recruit’. Balaji produced ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ is leading the nominations list of 12th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards with 12 nominations followed by Salman Khan-starrer ‘Dabangg’ with 11.

The mighty Khans Shahrukh and Salman are again facing each other for the coveted best actor trophy along with Hrithik Roshan for ‘Guzaarish’, and Ranbir Kapoor for ‘Rajneeti’.‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai’ has also been nominated for best direction by Milan Luthria. Elaborating on the basic premise of 'Teen Thay Bhai' (which is obviously about 'three brothers'), film maker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra says that it is a different take from dozens of other Bollywood flicks in the past that have narrated the tale of brotherhood."In 'Teen thay Bhai', these three brothers can't even see each other eye to eye. On the contrary they love to hate each other," laughs Mehra whose biggest hit till date, 'Rang De Basanti', had male bonding at the centre of it all, "The back story of 'Teen Thay Bhai' though is that each of these three brothers is a failure in life and blames each other for it."
