Chopra's Seven Deadly Husbands!

Ruskin Bond's short story: 'Susanna's Seven Husbands' is being revved up for cinema. Director Vishal Bhardwaj, bonding creatively with Bond over the script, will serve up 'Ek Batta Saat', a flick in which the lead actress Priyanka Chopra gets wedded to seven men… and ends up killing all of them!

A close source says, "Vishal wanted each of the husbands to look as different as possible, and each actor had to be different in terms of height, weight, body structure, skin tone and personality. The script of the film is quite unconventional."

South icon Mohanlal, Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham and Arshad Warsi, have already been penciled in as Chopra's cine hubbies. And the fifth (un)lucky husband to get the axe is likely to be… Irrfan Khan!

Adds the source, "During his visit to the US, Vishal was trying to zero in on a foreigner to play Priyanka's husband."
