Katrina might be very diplomatic about her relationship with Sallu Miya but she cannot totally cut ties from him for the help and support that he has landed to her when she was ignorant about Hindi film industry. "Salman Khan, his family & friends looked after me", Katrina candidly accepted in the show ‘Lift Kara De’ when Karan Johar asked her who are the people who helped this 19-year-old girl when she landed in Mumbai without knowing a soul in this city. Among Salman’s friend were designer Anna Singh and directors like David Dhawan and Anees Bazmee who has helped Katrina to achieve her goal. But when Karan questioned Katrina the very common question, whether she is single, she cleverly replied, "I believe that until you are married you are single!"
