Truthful 'Rann' On Byte Business!

It's being touted as a "work of fiction, inspired by real life characters". And trust Ram Gopal Varma to play with controversial fire once again. Reportedly, 'Rann' has portrayals based on politicians, leading industrialists and media czars, which viewers will have little difficulty connecting with.

Amitabh Bachchan's character, reportedly, has been based on Dr. Prannoy Roy. Dislcoses Varma in a newspaper chat, "When Prannoy started the channel decades ago, he came in with respectability and credibility. Amitabh's character has borrowed heavily from him, but is not exactly a replica of Dr. Roy."
