Priyanka, Kangana fashioned their way to National Awards  

Madhur Bhandarkar has really made it up for these two ladies….

Thanks to his film ‘Fashion’, Priyanka Chopra has won the National Award for Best Actress while Kangana Ranaut got the Best Supporting Actress.


The 56th National Film Awards for 2008 that have been announced lately is reported to carry other names from our industry who won this prestigious award. And here we have a short dekho of the list:

Best Film: Antaheen (Bengali film)
Best Male Singer: Hariharan (for Antaheen)
Best Female Singer: Shreya Ghoshal (for Antaheen)
Best Film on Family Values: Little Zizou (English, Gujarati)
Best Film on Social Issues: Jogwa


Best Biographical/Historical Reconstruction/Compilation film was received by the Films Division produced ‘The Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi — A Reconstruction’.


President Pratibha Patil will felicitate the winners with the Awards in March.
