His fame has reached celestial quarters. Shah Rukh Khan is over the moon with happiness. Quite literally. In addition to the truckloads of awards, a Madame Tussaud's wax honour and several other panegyrics that have paved his route in cinema … SRK's fame now has reached the moon!!
The International Lunar Geographic Society, a New York based organisation devoted to the study of the moon… has named a lunar crater after the effervescent Khan.
'Crater S R Khan' was christened on the occasion of the King Khan's 44 th birthday (November 2, 2009) and the approval of the International Astronomical Union, which has a final say in the naming of lunar craters, has sealed the deal in Khan's favour.
Star power, actually!
