It's a single line from the much touted 'Veer' which has provided much angst for actor and screenwriter Salman Khan, producer Vijay Galani and director Anil Sharma.
Pavan Chaudhary, a Gurgaon based writer has filed a case at the Delhi High Court, claiming damages to the tune of Rs 20 lakh, citing plagiarism as the offence. Apparently, his grouse is over one single line … wherein the hero states that "India should not be a 'sone ki chidiya' but a 'baaz'." Chaudhary's contention is that the line has been lifted pat from a Hindi book penned by him."This is the funniest thing that I have ever heard," said Sharma to the scribe tribe.
