Kaif co-star, Chopra ex-star!

The industry was all abuzz with the casting coup! Abbas Mustan had practically accomplished the impossible for their new "Indianised" version of The Italian Job, managing to get together warring idols Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif together in their flick.

Not any longer. And reportedly, it's a Rohan Sippy flick that's caused a rift! The canny Chopra backed out with lightning speed from Sippy's film, starring Abhishek Bachchan coz' she realised that her co-star in the movie was South star Rana Daggubati… and not Aby Boy! An aghast Rohan groaned and grumbled away to his pal of many years. Apparently, Paa didn't take too kindly either to that ungainly exit. Reportedly, Bachchan Jr. who is part of Abbas Mustan's flick voiced his displeasure in no uncertain terms to the director duo.

The fall-out was that Chopra was given an unceremonious boot from the Abbas Mustan movie! Relations between Bachchan Jr and Chopra have been rather strained and this was the last nail in their cine friendship.

The casting of the Abbas Mustan film has been long in the offing and to avoid further issues, the makers have only announced Kaif's name to the media. Word has it… that Chopra is to be replaced by Preity Zinta, who will stage a spectacular comeback with a completely new sexy avatar. Watch this space …
