Dilip Kumar No Autobiography

Now it seems to be almost final. There will be no official autobiography of the greatest ever Indian actor, Dilip Kumar. The 'tragedy king' has debunked and disowned all the biographies written about him till date. There were many well-known writers who approached Dilipsaab to help him write his autobiography but he kept postponing telling his story. The only person he gave permission to tell his story to was Udaya Tara Nayar, former editor of Screen Weekly Newspaper and a close friend of his wife Saira Banu. They had several meetings but nothing came out of it. The thespian is now suffering from amnesia which makes the chances of Mrs. Nayar writing his autobiography a very remote possibility.
