Suraj Jagan's 'sunshine' gets 300,000 hits
"The song 'Give me Some Sunshine' has acquired a cult status on college campuses. The 1:34 sec promo on the 3 IDIOTS YouTube channel has generated over 300,000 hits. All this has been achieved without a video release for the song," said Jagan's spokesperson.
Meanwhile, Jagan has been nominated for 'Stardust Awards - New Musical Sensation - Male' 2010 for the song.
Suraj Jagan is best known as one of the pioneers of the 90's Rock music movement in India. His singing career spans 20 years of experience which now includes Bollywood Playback for 3 IDIOTS, MY NAME IS KHAN, ALL THE BEST, JOHNNY GADDAAR , ROCK ON, HIDE and SEEK, and KARTHIK CALLING KARTHIK.
He has also acted in the Bollywood Film - ROCK ON where he played the character 'Ajay'.
Suraj Jagan has also been a part of well known Rock Bands including 'Chakraview', 'Dream Out Loud' and 'Krysys'.
He has also sung Jingles for very successful Advertising Campaigns including Hutch - You and I, Vodafone: Happy to Help.
Suraj is currently working with some of the biggest Bollywood music directors which includes Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Pritam, Rajesh Roshan and Vishal Shekhar for their forthcoming film releases.
Suraj Jagan will also be performing with his Hindi band at various venues across the country in 2010.
