Akki 'Backs' Out Of His Own Shooting !

Professionalism could well be his middle name and the hunky actor is known never to have cancelled a day's shoot in his career. But he did the unthinkable … for his own production !

Akshay Kumar didn't think twice about wrapping up work at Mehboob Studios ( Mumbai), where he was canning sequences for his 'Patiala House'. Apparently, Akshay had been shooting non stop for Nikhil Advani, despite his aching back. And since it wasn't an outside producer who would bear the lacerating losses, Kumar decided to call it a day swiftly. Confirming the news, Advani tells tabloids, " Akshay hurt his back while shooting. His back got strained earlier in the day during his exercise, but his pain aggravated after the shoot."

Earlier, Akshay was spotted at the Mumbai Marathon, supporting a cause and cheering participants as part of his "prior commitement." Back up plans, Akki?
