Colors’ programming head Ashvini Yardi said, "Colors has always done something different, whether it is soap or reality show. Whether it's 'Fear Factor' or 'Bigg Boss' or soaps like 'Balika Badhu', we always do something which is relevant to the society, whether it's child marriage or female infanticide like 'Lado'."
