Mappillai gets 'U' certificate

Dhanush-Hansika Motwani starrer Mappillai, a remake of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s yesteryear blockbuster with the same title, has received a clean 'U' certificate from the Censor Board and is all set to grace theatres on April 8.Mappillai is directed by Sooraj, who earlier made Dhanush’s Padikadhavan. Mani Sharma is the music director while Venkatesh cranks the camera. Shiyaji Shinde is the villain. The film also marks the Kollywood comeback of Manisha Koirala, who will play the role of Dhanush's mother-in-law.The film is about the cold war between a rich business woman (Manisha Koirala) and her son-in-law (Dhanush).
