Time to digitize film industry: Kamal Haasan

During the inaugural session of FICCI Conclave (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry 2011) in Mumbai, veteran actor Kamal Haasan opined that the Indian film industry should understand its potential market and gear up to upgrade it technically to be at par with the world media. He also pointed out the need of digitizing the film industry to increase the market base. During the inaugural session, key speakers like Yash Chopra, James Murdoch (CEO News Corporation) and Minister of State for Communications & IT Sachin Pilot also made some key points that could help the Indian film industry to achieve its ambitions.
