ICC World Cup 2011: New Zealand Off To A Cautious Start Against Sri Lanka In The Semi-Final At Colom

In ICC cricket World Cup 2011 first semi-final at Colombo, home team Sri Lanka are looking to dispel New Zealand wickets very quickly as NZ had starts playing cautiously. Interestingly, much to the relief of Sri Lanka, both their star bowlers - Lasith Malinga and Muttiah Muralitharan- have taken wickets early on in the match. New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first. their ploy was okay as both their openers, Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum, played well. Only when they had reached 32 runs did their first wicket fall in the shape of McCullum for 13 runs. He was bowled by Rangana Herath.
