Shahid, Anushka's Saviour!

Shasha and negative hype seem to be deeply entwined. Have a heart, Shahid Kapoor can prove to be a daring hero…in real life too!

Anushka Sharma will vouch for it. Sharma and Shasha were canning a music video for Parmeet Sethi's 'Badmaash Company', when an overhead chandelier almost came crashing down on Sharma!

But the swift reflexes of her male lead, saved the star! Admitting it as a serious lapse from his end, choreographer Ahmed Khan states in a periodical talk, "My instructions went a little awry. Luckily, Shasha pulled Anuskha towards him and prevented the mishap."

Incidentally, this is the third disaster on the sets of the Yash Raj Films venture, although it's not the premier time that Shasha has displayed his valiant streak.

Case in point: Priyanka Chopra. A sequence in 'Kaminey' required PC to ride a scooter with SK riding pillion. She lost her balance suddenly, and if it wasn't for Shasha who buffered her fall to a great extent, Chopra would have sustained a serious face injury.

Guess, Shahid's just saving face…
