Utt Pataang Review
Utt Pataang – Review Vinay Pathak’s Utt Pataang have silently hit the theatres this Friday. With out the luminous backing of any front line actors, the movie amusingly accounts the trail of a bag of money, that pass through hands of people, you would see only in a typical b-town. First half of the movie sets in all the components in place for a smooth transition from a monotonous story to an interesting comedy flick in the second half. The movie is like a gooseberry. The more you chew the better it tastes. In comparison the metaphor pales, but that is the movie in a nutshell. Ram Vilas Sharma (Vinay), who has lately been dumped by his girlfriend; Sanjana Mahadutta (Mahie Gull), is caught up in the net of smitten emotions, but is also in angst against her. That’s when his friend and sleuth Nandu Pandel (Saurabh Shukla), who stakes out on private affairs of people, calls him for a hang-out and hooks him up with Koel Dutta (Mona Singh). Koel is a betrayed girl who plays the ‘damsel in distress’, with whom Ram is more than happy to establish a rapport.
