Police have registered cases against popular South Indian actress-DMK speaker Khushbu and comedian Vadivelu on the basis of complaints lodged with the Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu that they violated the Model Code of Conduct during their recent election campaigns in Theni and Tiruvarur districts respectively.In the first case, Khushbu allegedly interrupted road traffic while campaigning at Palani Chettipatti in Theni. Another case against her was booked when eight cars were found to be following her vehicle at two places in the district without prior permission, authorities said, adding that all the eight vehicles have been seized.In the case filed by the Tiruvarur police against Vadivelu, it is alleged that the comedian publically denigrated DMDK leader Vijayakanth, promoting ill will between the cadres of two different parties; it is also alleged that this statement was also aired on many TV channels a number of times. He could be any man. Except that he is no more. The lines, the language and the speed of the story go on in comfortable terms. The feminine gestures by Ghosh, at times a little overdone, seem to have its effect on the role he plays. Deepti Naval is splendid as the character seems slightly disoriented, and very mature in dealing with the worst tragedy in her life. Raima Sen does not have a lot to emote or express, but manages to pull a pretty face and do some decent acting.
