The Queen of television and producer of some big-time projects, Ekta Kapoor is on cloud nine… Her debut Marathi venture ‘Taaryanche Bait’ has bagged two top honours at the prestigious Pune International Film Festival (PIFF).Bannered under Ekta’s ALT Entertainment and Neeraj Pandey’s Friday Filmworks, ‘Taaryanche Bait’ was premiered at the fest on January 10th, 2011. Boasting of an illustrious cast comprising Sachin Khedekar, Ashwini Giri, Kishore Kadam and Vinay Apte, among others, the film’s screening was showered with accolades and applause.
