A film on yesteryears heroine and performing actress

According to sources Jayaraj is coming up with Malayalam movie titled Naayika, which is based on the life of black and white movie heroine and performing actress Sreevidya's life. Notably ace Ranjith's highly praised Thirakkatha (2008), was also closely based on late actress Sreevidya.The movie is going to be produced by Thomas Benjamin under the banner of Makayiram Creations. Yesteryear lead actors Madhu and Sharada, are portraying lead roles in the movie Naayika. Script is penned by Deedi Damodaran. Interestingly hes the one who earlier scripted Jayaraj's Gulmohar. Well the movie Naayika is all about yesteryear heroine whose sudden dismissal at the very young age shocked the entire film industry as well as her fans. Jayaram, Sabitha Jayaraj and Jagathy portraying other supporting roles.
