Thoonga Nagaram -starring Vimal, Anjali, Nishanth and Bharani - is the first movie that has been singlehandedly produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine.The film is directed by Gaurav, a former assistant of Manmadan Ambu director, KS Ravikumar.Sundar C Babu has composed the songs for the movie and it was launched recently by Lingusamy and Gautham Menon.The music launch was attended by imminent personalities like KV Anand, KS Ravikumar, Sasikumar, Ameer, Samudrakani, and the cast and crew of the film."The entire unit of the film has worked hard to give their best," said Dhayanidhi Alagiri.The film has many debutantes - like editor Suresh and cameraman Vijay Ulaganath, a former assistant to KV Anand.Director Ameer has given the voiceover in the introduction of the film, in the typical Madurai slang. It also has an item number by Madhumitha.
