Art house films are making waves in West Bengal as the state has a vast cinema literate audience, feels actor Rahul Bose who has starred in Bollywood as well as Bengali movies.
'I think the semi-art house and art house films in Bengal are really making waves. The quality of people who come to watch in Kolkata is far more cinema literate in one place than in the rest of India,' Rahul told IANS.'In the rest of the country, there are many cinema literate people but they are too few, scattered in too many places, to justify exhibition,' said Rahul.He is on to another Bengali film. This time he shoots for 'Laptop' directed by actor-director Kaushik Ganguly.
