Haunted 3D was by far the highest grossing horror film in India. Post the success of the film, director Vikram Bhatt was pretty kicked about making a sequel to RGV's Bhoot. The project announced just last week but the news is that Bhatt has opted out of it.Speaking about this Bhatt says, "I was told that Ramu had enough on his plate and would be unavailable to direct Bhoot 2. I was never the first choice for Bhoot 2, he was. Ramu is a senior director and technician and I would never do anything to upset him. Now, since I know he wants to direct the second part, I wish him well. I will not direct Bhoot 2. It rightfully belongs to Ramu, not me. In any case, I have to work on Raaz 3."

Though he may no longer be making Bhoot 2, Vikram is currently busy with Dangerous Ishq, which marks the comeback of Karisma Kapoor with an ensemble cast, followed by Raaz 3.

Vivek Oberoi is turning romantic again. He has recently signed an out and out love story where he would be playing the lead protagonist. The film is special for him since it would be almost a decade after Saathiya (2002) that he would be seen serenading his lady love.

"It is a beautiful and meaningful love story that Vivek has just signed", informs a close associate of the actor, "After an intense Rakht Charitra and action oriented Prince, he wanted to dabble in different genres. One glance at Aftab Shivdasani's 'mooch' in his upcoming release BIN BULAYE BARAATI and not just it looks suspiciously similar to the kind of look that actor Surya carried in Tamil flick SINGHAM (which has now been remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn), it also continues the trend as set by some of the recent filmy cops seen on screen. He has a point here. Last year Salman Khan tried something razor thin in DABANGG, Abhishek Bachchan went with a regular one for DUM MAARO DUM and now Aamir Khan is going conventional as well for Reema Kagti's yet untitled suspense drama. Not to forget Ajay Devgn who has grown a 'mooch' for SINGHAM. Incidentally each of these actors are playing a cop in the respective films.
