Filmstan Studios ‘Action’ to Cut at 6000 crore?

According to sources, Filmstan Studios, Bollywood renowned studio set up in 1943 by the legendary Ashok Kumar with Shashadhar Mukherjee is up for sale.Kamanwala Housing Construction Ltd (KHCL), a low profile real estate company that holds a majority stake in Filmistan, is learnt to have put the studio up for sale. The company, which purchased the property in 1988, is said to be in negotiations with some leading developers to develop the property.
