Priyanandanan's next film is a satire on religious practices

Acclaimed director Priyanandanan is now making his comeback with his latest Malayalam venture Bhakthajanangalude Sradhakku. The film, which features actress Kavya Madhavan and Irshad in the leads, is a satire on certain religious practices and it is expected to hit the screens very soon. The story revolves around a married couple named Sumangala and Viswanathan. Things go horribly wrong when Viswa becomes an alcoholic. How the fed up wife will curb her husband's incorrigible ways will form the rest of the story.
