Mani Ratnam's Mahesh Babu-Vijay starrer shelved?

Ace director Mani Ratnam's proposed Tamil-Telugu bilingual period drama (titled Ponniyin Selvan in Tamil and tentatively titled Veerudu in Telugu), starring Mahesh Babu and Tamil heroes Vijay, Arya and Anushka, has been reportedly shelved.According to sources, the film has been put on hold due problems in finding the funds. The film requires a whopping Rs. 100 crores, it is said.
