Endhiran continues to bag awards at various film fests. The latest honor for this blockbuster movie of 2010 was at the International Indian Film Academy awards, 2011. Endhiran bagged three awards at this event. Make-up artiste Banu, art director Sabu Cyril and special effects director Srinivasan Mohan were honored with the awards.IIFA is conducted every year and this year several Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat participated in it.

Director Selvan seems to be the worst affected as his film Krishna Leelai has been put in the backburner by the producers Kavithalaya and Ayngaran International. The director rued that the producer did not give him any reason for not releasing the movie despite it being completed two years and three months ago.In an open letter to the Police Commission of Chennai, Selvan had said that he would go on an indefinite hunger strike from July 1^st 2011, if the producers do not take any steps to release Krishna Leelai.
