Actors Rajeev Khandelwal and Adah Sharma have a lot in common. They both started their careers with unconventional films, AAMIR and 1920 respectively, which tasted box-office success. They both received rave reviews for their performances and garnered huge fan following. Now they have one more thing in common, they will be seen opposite each other in a film called ANGEL, to be directed by Ganesh Acharya.

A source close to Ganesh says, "Rajeev is very talented. He plays the male lead in the film. The film is quite similar to Sridevi-Kamal Hassan starrer SADMA. We needed a girl who is very young and innocent looking. Apparently the girl in the film suffers from a mental disorder. In today's time you don't find girls who can depict so much innocence. Everyone is getting carried away with being a glam doll in designer clothes. Hence, Adah came into picture and she fits the bill perfectly. She can look very vulnerable which is what is needed for her character, her eyes are very expressive and she can portray some emotions that even veteran actors cannot."

Rajeev and Adah are both fantastic actors. Since they play very next-door characters in the film, both Rajeev and Adah will be seen sans any makeup in the film. While rajeev will play a character in his late 20's Adah will play an 18 yr old with the brain of a 3 year old.

Let's hope Rajeev and Adah have one more thing in common, another super hit! But this time a joint one.

The English version of the bestselling Tamil autobiography of Muthumeenal was released by veteran actor Kamal Haasan on Friday. The book, titled Thorn, was received by Yohei Sasakawa, the Chairman of Nippon Foundation, Japan. Thorn is also about a village girl growing up with the stigma of one of the most misunderstood diseases. The story has been rendered into English by Shuba with the simplicity of the original work. The translators Latha Ramakrishnan, Shubashree Desikan and designer Santhosh were also honoured at the function.
