Akshay as Parghat Singh Kohlon aka 'Gattu' is a man whose dreams are never fulfilled in life. Anushka Sharma plays the love interest of Akshay as Simran. The story revolves around two main characters inbetween Gattu and his father Baiju played by Rishi Kapoor. The star is known to always be punctual and never cancels shoots under any condition. However recently the actor cancelled a day of shooting only because it was his home production.
