Shankar's controversial 'A' certified movie Jai Bolo Telangana, starring Jagapathi Babu, celebrated its 50 days' run and the triple platinum discs function at Sudershan 35 mm theatre, Hyderabad recently.B. Narsing Rao, Raghavendra Rao, Kodanda Ramireddy, AVS, Janardhana Maharshi, Kodanda Ram, Veda Kumar, Dil Raju, Chandra Mahesh, Goreti Venkanna, Vijayendar Reddy, Allam Narayana, CVL, Nandini Siddhareddy and others attended the function. The guests handed over the 50 days shields and triple platinum discs to the unit members.

Thoonga Nagaram -starring Vimal, Anjali, Nishanth and Bharani - is the first movie that has been singlehandedly produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine.The film is directed by Gaurav, a former assistant of Manmadan Ambu director, KS Ravikumar.Sundar C Babu has composed the songs for the movie and it was launched recently by Lingusamy and Gautham Menon.The music launch was attended by imminent personalities like KV Anand, KS Ravikumar, Sasikumar, Ameer, Samudrakani, and the cast and crew of the film."The entire unit of the film has worked hard to give their best," said Dhayanidhi Alagiri.The film has many debutantes - like editor Suresh and cameraman Vijay Ulaganath, a former assistant to KV Anand.Director Ameer has given the voiceover in the introduction of the film, in the typical Madurai slang.
