Synopsis :

Well Done Abba is the story of Armaan Ali, a driver working for a Senior Executive in Mumbai, who goes on leave. He wants to find a match for his teenage daughter, who stays with his brother Rehman Ali and his wife Salma. When Armaan returns to work after 3 months his young employer wants to sack him. But Armaan Ali has a story to tell. The story he tells is a humorous and often hilarious account of the events and happenings that delayed him from returning after a month. He avails a government scheme to dig a well in his agricultural patch. Things spiral out of control so much so that the Government is about to collapse! Synopsis :

When Aman proposes to Kaaya, neither he nor Kaaya know about the generational curse that plagues Kaaya's family. As soon as Kaaya wears the engagement ring and the couple drives off together, their car takes a spin and bounces of the road almost killing the both of them. When Kaaya's parents hear about their daughter's accident, they rush to the hospital to find an engagement ring on their daughter's finger. Distraught, the father explains to the young couple that three hundred years back their family had incurred the curse of an angry Brahmin and that curse did not allow the daughter's of their family to be married. The couple finds it hard to believe but there is little choice as their lives are constantly in danger. Aman and Kaaya cannot live without each other, but there is little that they can do till Aman meets Pashupathi who is the master of the ways of the spiritual world. Pashupathi tells Aman that in some cultures, there was a belief that a generational curse worked much after even the person who had uttered the curse was dead because, it was believed, that an evil curse when uttered stuck to an evil spirit and the spirit then became the keeper of the curse and it was the duty of that evil spirit to make the curse come true generation after generation. Aman asks Pashupathi if there was a way to destroy the spirit and get rid of the curse. Pashupathi tells him that there was a way but it was filled with peril. If he sets about to hunt and destroy a spirit then the spirit would also know that it was being hunted. It would become a war between man and the devil. Was he ready for it? Aman tells Pashupathi that he would fight for his love... and so begins their journey. Through the world of fear and intrigue and the eternal fight between good and evil. Will love conquer all? Shaapit is the first film in India of its genre. It is an adventurous horror love story


that's never attempted before.

Synopsis :

Mumbai-based animation studio Crest Animation and US-based Lionsgate Family Entertainment Thursday announced here their second 3D animation movie, as part of a three-film deal.

Titled 'Norm of the North', the movie will be the two companies' second outing after 'Alpha and Omega' that is to be released October this year.

'Our partnership with Crest has gotten off to a terrific start with 'Alpha and Omega,' and 'Norm of the North' is an ideal follow-up,' said Ken Katsumoto, executive vice president of Lionsgate. Family Entertainment, US.

Seemha Ramanna, managing director of Crest Animation Studios, said: 'We are delighted to be producing 'Norm of the North' with our friends at Lionsgate. This is a wonderful story, full of humor and heart, and stereoscopic 3D technology will bring it vividly to life.'

Written by Steven and Daniel Altiere, 'Norm of the North' is expected to release in the first quarter of 2012.

'Alpha and Omega' is an animated comedy about two mismatched wolves and features the voices of well-known artistes like Justin Long, Hayden Panetierre, Christina Ricci, Danny Glover, Dennis Hopper and Larry Miller.

Speaking to us about his hacking experience, Lucky says, "Someone is after me and has targeted my account on today's popular social networking sites. I am worried they might be misusing my name. Though, I have registered a complaint about it but I'm still feeling very threatened by the hacker's motive. I wonder if there is a way to get rid of them."

Lucky Ali is currently promoting his new music album these days. He's also planning to lend his voice to few film songs this year. Adds the singer, "I'm very choosy about my film songs. This year I am looking at doing three film recordings and for me that is a fair enough deal."

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is the only Indian to have been nominated for the fourth Asian Film Awards.

The 24-year-old has been nominated in the best newcomer category for her role in 'Delhi-6', said a statement after the nominations were announced here Thursday. She will be competing with four contenders from China and Korea.

The award ceremony will take place here March 22.

Daughter of versatile actor Anil Kapoor, who made an international mark with his role in Oscar winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire', Sonam made her Bollywood debut in 2007 opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 'Saawariya'.

Thereafter she was seen alongside Abhishek Bachchan in 'Delhi-6', which didn't do well at the box office.

The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has postponed the visit of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan due to cold and fog in the capital.

Shah Rukh was scheduled to visit the university Jan 23 to hold 'interactive sessions' with the varsity students. Noted Urdu poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar and versatile actress and social activist Shabana Azmi were also to accompany him and participate in the interactive sessions.

According to varsity officials, a fresh date for his visit to AMU will be announced later.

But it's not as if he won't serve booze at his residence. Khan clarifies in a tabloid chat that he's likely to offer beer to visitors, while he'll settle for a healthy high of fresh lime juice.

Admits the frank actor, "I put on 10 kgs in the past few months. Besides, I tended to overdo the drinking bit and hated it when I felt unhealthy. So I decided to quit drinking booze for life. As for cigarettes, I was never a regular smoker, so I decided to give it up too."

Commenting on media speculation that his spouse Kiran Rao goaded him into making the decision, Khan asserts, "I just felt like doing it from within. There is no specific reason."

Sudhir Mishra says the news of his unreleased film 'Tera Kya Hoga Johnny' being available on the Internet came as a rude shock. The director, however, is confident that the unfinished version on the net won't jeopardize the film's prospects.

'After 'Slumdog Millionaire', the West is looking with much curiosity at the slum culture of Mumbai. I had no plans of doing an English version of 'Tera Kya Hoga Johnny'. But everyone who saw it in New York suggested I do it. Every frame in my film has been shot in the slums, lanes and gullies of South Mumbai in Colaba,' Mishra told IANS.

He admits that he was shocked when he learnt that his film was leaked online.

'Suddenly the news of my film being downloaded has become bigger than the film itself. This, I must admit, comes as a rude reminder of what lies ahead for our fim industry. It's not just piracy. The net is where we need to look for trouble sources now.

'When I finally heard about my film being on the net, I checked it out. This is not the full and final version of 'Tera Kya Hoga Johnny'. It's a very rough cut. I'd advise all netizens to avoid watching the illegal download because that's not my film,' he said.

Mishra refuses to play the blame game with the film's co-producer Tutu Sharma.

'All I'll say is that the film did not get leaked out of my office. What has happened, must be avoided in the future. But we aren't letting this go. Complaints have been filed in two police stations of Mumbai and with the Google authorities. This must not happen again,' he said.

'Tera Kya Hoga Johnny' is an episodic story of a street child called Johnny. Mishra got a child from the streets of Kolkata to play the lead and even unofficially adopted the boy who now lives with the director.

Earlier, Neil Nitin Mukesh, who features in one of the episodes, was blamed for delay in the film release. It was said the actor didn't want the film to release because of his minuscule role.

'Now at least everyone should stop blaming me. It was said I delayed the film by refusing to dub for it. Arrey, the film was in sync sound, so there's no question of not dubbing. I'm very proud of 'Tera Kya Hoga Johnny,' said Neil.

Bachchan Jr explains, "In Housie, you have numbers from 1 to 99, and in 'Bingo' we have numbers from 1 to 75 only. Anybody who sits in front of the TV can play and win lakhs of rupees. It would seem very boring if I just read out the number on a ball and so we decided to spice up the game show a bit."

Enabling that mission with some starry assistance are Arshad Warsi, Vidya Balan, Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Vindoo Dara Singh and other celebs. "They're my friends, "admits Abhishek." So I wanted them to come on my show, relax and have some fun!."

One episode has the classy Kirrron Kher playing badminton with Bachchan Boy! "She's been my badminton partner," says Aby Boy." And for those who don't know, she was a badminton champion earlier."

His romantic alliance with Priyanka is no longer under the wraps, but Neil Nitin Mukesh hastens to clarify in inter phew chats, that keeping her away from the media spotlight was not a strategic move. "It's just that I didn't get a chance to speak about it earlier," claims Neil. "But now that it is out there, I can talk all about it."

Speculation is rife that NNM is all set to tie the nuptial knot in the near offing. "It's too premature to say that we are tying the knot this year," he asserts.

The dim response to his 'Jail' did blot his psyche, "The film did reasonably well, but I wish it had done better because it deserved to."

Among his forthcoming clutch of projects are Pradeep Sarkar's flick ("I've been shooting for the past ten nights, and so my body clock has gone haywire.") and Abbas Mustan's Hindi remake of 'The Italian Job' starring Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan.
