His swigs in the evenings are restricted to… lime juice! Reportedly, the recent health scare that the veteran suffered on the sets of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana,' made him spurn the boozing vice. This time, for good!

Close pal Anil Sharma ('Hukumat', 'Apne') says in a news quote, "He still wants to work and has taken this step to keep his health in good shape. He's a very determined person and I don't see why he will go back on his word."

Insiders assert that it was Hema Malini, and her two daughters Esha and Ahana, who coaxed Dharmendra to get rid off his unhealthy obsession. An elated Malini told the media, "It's true and that Dharamji doesn't drink anymore and he gave it up a while ago."
