After seven years, Priyadarshan is directing a Mohanlal film!The most awaited Mohanlal-Priyadarshan film is titled Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P Madhavan Nairum.Priyan, who completed the first schedule in Abu Dhabi, says: "Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P Madhavan Nairum has tremendous title value, as people will surely be curious to know what it is all about. The film is a satirical comedy set in Abu Dhabi. I can't reveal anything more at this point."Mukesh will play an important role in the film and is joining the Mohanlal-Priyan team 10 years after the release of Kakkakuyil (2001).Lakshmi Rai and Bhavana are the lucky heroines who have bagged the dream opportunity to be a part of this Priyan movie.The film will hit the screens in July.

Though they had not been recognised as a hit pair in Mollywood, Kunchakko Boban and Bhavana will be coming together for one more new film in the recent future. Titled as 'Doctor Love', this new flick to kick off its shoot by next month will be directed by Biju Arookutty. This new movie will be produced by Joy Thomas Sakhthikulangara who had created many hit movies in the past.

Bhavana and Kunchakko Boban had been earlier together for films like Hridayathil Sookshikkan and Lolipop which ended up as duds in the Box Office. Their only hit movie together was the multistarrer 'Swapnakoodu' which was released in 2003.

As expected by the trade, Santhosh Sivan's latest magnum opus 'Urumi' has opened well in Kerala. The movie registered hundred percent collections on the first day in all the seventy centres where it was released. With word of mouth growing , the late night night shows had more people going back without getting tickets for the shows.

Friday shows were also steady and with a good holiday weekends and and two months vacation, the movie is expected to turn a big hit in the days to come. Anyhow, the makers are pretty happy with the initial reactions on the film and are planning to open more centres in U A E and other release centres outside the state.

After its recent big movies like 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint' and 'Palerimanickyam' that offered the maximum for critics to boast about, director Renjith has unleashed the new plans of his production house 'Capitol films'. Their immediate production will be a movie named 'Leela'. Featuring Shankar Ramakrishnan, the scriptwriter of 'Urumi' as its hero, Prithviraj, Nedumudi venu and Mamtha will appear in other important roles of this movie which is all set to start the shoot by the 25th of this month.Another interesting aspect of this movie will be the music design by ace director Shyamaprasad who had been a senior to Renjith at the drama school.
