Vidya's Gallery Greatness…

Vidya's Gallery Greatness…

Vidya Balan is fast earning top brownie points. On the acting front… and more. Recently, the giggly actress sashayed into a New Delhi art gallery after completing the canning of the day's shoot for 'No One Killed Jessica'.

The owner, giddy with glee at having spotted VB at his gallery, was all keen on gifting her with a pricey painting. But, guess what? The self respecting Balan asserted that she would have none of it, and politely turned down his request stating she'd never accept such an expensive gift.

But when Mr. Gallery Owner persisted and insisted, Balan consented to take away a small artwork as a token after she'd paid in full for an eye catching painting.

A far cry from many idols who crave away for freebies…

Preity Tweets To Reason; Hails Harvard…

Even as more stars get lured into the charming fold of Twitter, citing assorted reasons, Preity Zinta is amply clear as to why she resorted to the micro blogging site.

"There were a whole lot of unwarranted rumours about me," reveals Zinta in a tabloid talk. "And I wanted to assure my fans that they weren't true. Twitter gave me that platform."

Post IPL, the perky PZ will be back facing the arc lights after her Thailand holiday trip, wherein she'll be accompanied by her mother.

Endorsement shoots and shows, which she'd earlier committed to will now see the Preity light of the day. Besides, she's gearing up to greenlight 'Har Pal', which has been on hold for quite a while. Asserts PZ, "Whether it's Hollywood or Bollywood, I want to be a part of all kinds of cinema and do films all over the world."

On the personal front, Zinta opines that her Harvard stint strengthened her on various counts. "It broadened by horizons and has taught me to think big. Harvard taught me how to structure my business and be less emotional. More importantly, it taught me how to keep my mouth shut when needed." Silent lessons, eh?

Loaded title, what say?

Aamir Clamps Prateik's Public Life?

No partying. No public appearances. No media exposure. That, reportedly, seems to be the thundering diktat issued by producer Aamir Khan to Pratiek, the star of his spouse's directorial debut 'Dhobi Ghaat'.

The canny Khan, close sources aver, has imposed these restrictions on the 23 year old actor, as he's readying to unveil an effective strategy to spotlight 'Dhobi Ghaat'. Khan's take is that lying low will fan more curiosity as regards Pratiek. And this, in turn, will create more mystery about the flick.
