It's a trio of hassled times for the Khans. Salman 'Veer' Khan, all set for some divine innings (post 'Veer' fans in New Delhi, Kolkata and Rajasthan have been garlanding his photos and performing 'aartis' too) is in for a serious spot of anguish too.

The Rajput community are up in arms against his Anil Sharma helmed flick. They have taken an express objection to a scene showing the Rajput princess being crowned to take charge of the kingdom when her father is still alive! "This is definitely blasphemous," says a member of the Rajput community. "It's against facts and we will not allow it."

Meanwhile, the other two Khans : SRK and Aamir have earned the communal ire of the Shiv Sena. 'Dopahar Ka Saamna', the Sena mouthpiece has derided the duo of rival Khans and lauded them as '2 Idiots.' SRK for blatantly insisting that Pakistani cricketers should be included in IPL3 and Aamir for dragging in national sentiments while speaking in favour of Paki cricket biggies. Guess, Rajkumar Hirani should gear up for '3 Khans'!

In the wake of Indian students facing racial discrimination, and often death in Australia, comes a hearty cinematic twist! Baz Luhrrman, Aussie director, actor and musician, will set the ball rolling by forging a creative bond between the countries.

The redoubtable director ('Moulin Rouge', 'Australia'), accompanied by artist and pal Vincent Fantauzzo are all set to meet up with the Bachchans for a celeb lunch. Baz has perfect plans in place. "I'm going to try and convince the Bachchans to pose for Vincent," he states in a newspaper chat. Besides, Baz is expressly keen on working with the talented quartet of "the royal family of Bollywood," as Vincent often refers to them."When creative people sit together, creative things happen," declares Baz hopefully. Incidentally, Ash and Aby Boy have already invited Baz to visit them on the sets of their recent film.

On a personal note, Baz declares fondly that his visits to India have been crammed with "spiritually uplifting moments."Besides, the talented duo are already doing their bit of philanthrophy for India. They will grace an auction where the proceeds of their art work will be donated to the charity 'Deeds', which focusses on improving the lot of the hearing impaired.The Bachchans, meanwhile, are all ears…..

Shreyas Talpade was in for a neck breaking experience.Well, almost. While canning Sangeeth Sivan's spine chilling 'Click', ST had to perform a stunt on the chilliest winter day of the month, worsened further by incessant downpour!

The shot to be canned required Talpade to fall backward off the third floor iron railing of a building. The harness and other precautions were in place; the assistant director though, got the timing wrong. And the actor practically escaped having his neck snapped as he fell upside down! The AD, thankfully, had the presence of mind to pull the harness in time and Talpade was left suspended inches above the ground!

"It was truly a scary experience and I did feel that there was a paranormal connection to it, since it was a film like this one," admits Talpade in a tabloid chat.

What's commendable, though, is that ST gathered his courage and performed the stunt himself, all over again, even as Sivan and crew members bit their knuckles to the bone. Bravo, Talpade!!

First the hot denials. And now the chilling truth. Om Puri and Nandita Puri will undo the nuptial knot. And the National award winning actor is all set to return to his maiden spouse: Seema Kapoor.

"I want to return to my first wife, since I do feel that I have wronged her," confesses Puri in a candid chat with a tabloid as regards his impending divorce. "I want to make amends. And after my back surgery, I need to be looked after."

Scribe speculation is peaking and suggests that the Puris have broken bonds, thanks to journalist Nandita's biography which spotlights Puri's sexual romps and casts him in a poor light. The veteran, however, dismisses all such talk. "The problems between Nandita and me have been brewing since the past eight to nine years," he admits. "I had moved out of the house to live with Seema. But friends convinced me not to be hasty and so I have moved back home with Nandita and my son Ishaan, who is my life. I don't want my son to be scarred by what his parents do.

Katrina Kaif may have catwalked down the ramp for topline designers. This time, however, Kat will adopt a big cat .. a leopard Catreena!

Apparently, the 15 day old leopard cub who was spotted in a village near Bhopal, was rescued by a team from the national park: Van Vihar. They christened her "Catreena", coz they felt that she "was beautiful and silly like Katrina."

When Kaif learnt about it, she made enquiries with the Van Vihar staff expressing her desire to adopt the rescued cub. Rs 50,000 from the Kaif coffers annually will ensure top quality upkeep of the leopard. Quite a catty deal, eh?
